Education is the cornerstone of progress. Our scholarship program provides a lifeline to vulnerable children in Kibera, ensuring they have access to quality education.
Our community library and hub provide a safe space for learning and collaboration, offering resources and support for all ages.
Our feeding program addresses the nutritional needs of children and street families, providing regular meals and support.

Shadrack Otieno is the founder of NANE Experience Organisation, based in Gatwekera village, Kibera. Having grown up in Kibra, he experienced firsthand the challenges of life in the slums — from lack of access to education, food, and other basic needs.
Despite these hardships, he was fortunate to receive a scholarship that allowed him to continue his education, even when he was close to giving up due to the tough and toxic environment around him.
As a beneficiary of kindness and support from people he least expected, Shadrack felt inspired to give back. Through NANE Experience, he is committed to supporting children in Kibera by providing the most basic needs, mentorship, and opportunities — ensuring that no child feels left behind the way he once did
